The reasons for the yellowing of the surface of industrial aluminum channel profiles products can be roughly summed up in two ways, one is the improper method used in the extrusion process of the profiles, and the second is the improper surface treatment of the profiles. The specific analysis can refer to the following contents:
1. The profile needs to be cooled after being extruded by the die, in order to improve the mechanical properties and physical properties of the material. Coolant will be used in the cooling process, and the effect of the coolant used by different materials is different. Common coolants are generally water or oil-based coolants. If water is used for cooling or when the copper content in the coolant is relatively high, the surface of the profile will be yellowed. The reason for this is that aluminum is a relatively active metal, and it is easy to react chemically with materials in the air or water.
2. The surface of industrial aluminum channel profiles products is usually covered with an oxide film, which can not only increase the corrosion resistance of the profiles, but also increase the aesthetics of the profiles. However, before the surface treatment of the profile, it is necessary to clean the surface of the extruded profile to fully remove the oil on the surface. If the cleaning work in this step is not in place, in the subsequent oxidation process, the oxide film will not be easily colored, or the coloring will not be uniform enough, resulting in the phenomenon of yellowing.
